At the end of last September, 50 KS2 pupils from Bluecoat Primary School visited the University of Chester for European School Sport Day, a celebration of youth Physical Activity across the continent. This is an event initiated within the region by NWCPEA, now in its fourth year of operation and the for the first time since 2019, a collective face to face gathering.
They were welcomed by 29 Chester SES and PE students who helped the pupils through a number of different physical challenges based upon the theme ‘going green.’
As you can see from the photos, everyone had a good time and the students are to be commended for planning a range of imaginative activities within a short time frame. Thanks to everyone involved – see you next year!
